Twins & Multiples-My Texas Twins Events Team…

Today as my twin sister and I organize my multigenerational family for a scheduled day of hair and make up for my magazine spread photo shoot, we (as usual) recognize how everyone around here has their own agenda.

I had been nominated by Women of Distinction Magazine for my unique and creative contribution to the wedding and events industry and after answering interview questions, was told that photos of the team along with head shots of me were needed to complete the process.  Contacting everyone to organize a date and time to get photos wasn’t (for me) a “big deal.”  However, my son needed his suit cleaned, Leigh Ann and Stephanie wanted their hair & make up “professionally applied” and our Little Pawners, Maryssa and Makenna wanted their nails and hair “perfect.”

You see, when you work with your family, every event can quickly turn into a circus around here! While my twin sister Cindy Daniel “whips up” fascinator hats for the twins to wear today- I organize the clothing changes for our shots with one group shot, one “two sets of twins” shot and one older children with grandchildren shot and a separate head shot of me.  Everyone hates it when I choose their clothing but let’s face it, someone has to be the leader and as the owner of three unique businesses that give “anyone regardless of their income” the opportunity for a Dream Event- that someone is me!

No one on my team is camera shy so I’m hoping that we can get through the day without the usual sibling Squables that ensue between our older kids.

As we pack up and prepare for a long day in Fort Worth, I realize that compensating personalities of twins may be mirrored by the compensating personalities of my team!
